This most recent of ministries has sprung up after a few visits last year to sing and minister at various Elderly Residential Care Homes near Walthamstow - they were such a success and so well received that it has been a blessing to continue doing them.

The format is one of singing (about 15-20 people are members of the group) interspersed with testimony and bible
reading and concluding with an altar call of sorts!

Sometimes it is very hard to know exactly who is responding to Jesus' call so we rely on 1-1 ministry afterwards, talking and praying with the residents both for salvation and healing.

The residents and staff are very generous towards us, allowing us full liberty to preach the gospel inside these homes to very needy people, some of whom are very lonely and receive very few visits from those outside the homes, so we are a blessing to them in just being there.

Truly it is also a blessing just to go and minister to these lovely people who need Christ so desperately; there is a joy in praying and leading people in a sinners' prayer and also for healing when all of life's glitter has been stripped away and often precious little is left of their lives EXCEPT LIFE ITSELF!

They are most responsive and in this age of increasing population demographics amongst the elderly, I foresee this ministry touching many lives and winning souls for Jesus.
